What's New
This release adds custom keyboard shortcuts, visual and usability improvements, bug fixes, and a system to save and restore results settings.
This version of PyroSim is designed for FDS version 6.7.1. It uses version 1.8.0_172 of the Java VM.
Changes since PyroSim 2019.2.0515:
- Added ability to customize keyboard shortcuts through the Preferences dialog.
- Added antialiasing (multisampling) for improved visual quality.
- Added anisotropic filtering for improved texture quality.
- Made improvements to background image quality.
- Made it so imported CAD lines/points are now written to the pyrogeom file so they will show in the Results.
- Fixed a bug where a GE1 filename would be added to the DUMP record even if GE1 output is disabled.
- Updated max CHID length to 50 characters instead of 255.
- Added label to show the current version of PyroSim in the Check for Updates window.
- Fixed a bug where copying a zone would not associated leakages if the zone was part of a subgroup.
- Adding a warning to make clear what the behavior when parsing FDS models with unknown fields.
- Fixed a bug where Alt+O and Alt+F didn't open "File" or "Output" menus.
- Added ability to create isosurfaces, plot3d output, and slices for FED quantity type.
- Fixed translation error for controls descriptions.
- Fixed a crash that could occur when creating a deadband control.
- Updated MPI to build 20180829.
Changes to Results:
- Added antialiasing (multisampling) for improved visual quality.
- Added anisotropic filtering for improved texture quality.
- Added support for skyboxes.
- Added results visualization management that allows results settings to be saved to and loaded from disk.
- Added a feature to show and hide Pathfinder background images separately from imported geometry.
- Improved Pathfinder background image quality.
- Fixed a bug where selected objects remain in the model after replacing a results set.
- Fixed reset to selected action doesn't work when floors laid out horizontally.
- Fixed a bug that could prevent Results from starting with the message "The program can't start because WMVCore.DLL is missing from your computer".
- Fixed incorrect time estimate in Create Movie progress dialog.
- Fixed a bug where the Recent Files list might be cleared when starting Results.
- Fixed a bug where screenshots and movies might be look incorrect if FDS smoke or fire is active and the screenshot size matches the window size.
- Fixed a bug where Results might crash if add a 2D slice to a 3D slice that doesn't exist in every mesh.
