PyroSim 2017.1.0209
Faster FDS modeling with professional results
Version: 2017.1.0209
February 9, 2017
What's New
This release includes bug fixes for several issues related to running FDS and Smokeview and loading legacy models.
This version of PyroSim is designed for FDS version 6.5.3 and Smokeview 6.4.4. It uses version 1.8.0_112 of the Java VM.
PyroSim 2017 uses an updated version of Thunderhead License Manager. Floating license users that have not yet upgraded to PyroSim 2017 should download an updated license manager from the PyroSim download page and install on their license server machine. The license manager installer will replace the old license manager and re-use existing license files. Older versions of PyroSim will continue to work with the updated license manager.
Changes since PyroSim 2017.1.0131:
- Fixed a bug that could prevent PyroSim from loading PSM files created by PyroSim 2016.2.
- Fixed a bug that could cause PyroSim to fail when launching FDS simulations because of a 32-bit / 64-bit DLL mismatch that impacted the runfds.exe process.
- Fixed a bug that could cause PyroSim to fail when launching FDS and Smokeview when no mapped logical drives were present on the system.
- Fixed a bug where PyroSim could fail when launching FDS on Windows operating systems prior to Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012.
