What's New
This release adds dimensioning and labeling tools for results, additional VR hardware support, new analysis options to visualize occupant movement, and bug fixes.
This version of Pathfinder uses version 1.8.0_172 of the Java VM.
Changes since Pathfinder 2018.3.1210:
- Added options to color occupants by profile or behavior when not viewed as people.
- Added total jam time on open surfaces, stairs, and ramps to occupants summary output.
- Added navigation surface type (open, stairs, or ramp) to occupants detailed output.
- Added a new filter to set visibility state of behaviors.
- Changed the "Reset All" action to ignore view objects when placing the camera.
- Fixed a bug where occupants might get stuck in crowded crossflow situations.
- Fixed a bug where occupants might gather too close if there is another nearby occupant nearby who is counter-flowing.
- Fixed a bug in the simulation progress dialog that might cause some letters to appear as boxes or question marks when using non-Latin based languages.
- Fixed a bug where occupants might get stuck on or near single-step stairs that slope slightly backward.
- Fixed a bug where the application window might shrink every time an occupant source was selected.
- Fixed a bug where the application might not be able to open an existing PTH file.
- Fixed a bug where an occupant might stop considering a door forever if there is counterflow at the door, even if the counterflow dissipates.
- Fixed a bug where the roaming movement speed was not being set properly when importing or opening a model, or when resetting the view.
- Fixed a bug where clicking the "Show Navigation Geometry" filter incorrectly hid agents and behaviors.
- Fixed a delay that could occur in large models when opening dialogs used to select doors and rooms.
- Fixed an issue that caused the 3D renderer to show some Unicode characters as boxes.

- Added the ability to draw custom labels.
- Added the ability to show/hide floors.
- Added support for the HTC Vive, Vive Pro, and many other OpenVR/SteamVR headsets when in VR mode.
- Added the ability to color occupants by profile or behavior for new simulations when occupants are not viewed as people.
- Added the ability to dynamically color occupants by their speed, time to exit, or view direction.
- Added the ability to rename items using the context menu.
- Added the ability to show floors containing the current selection.
- Fixed a bug where views and tours made in the Results would not save/restore correctly in non-English versions if the results are closed and reopened.
